The Company: An overseas based bank in the Asia Pacific region, this is a hybrid role working from home (WFH) with regular travel to the clients site based near to Australia, all flights and expenses are paid for by the client, this is circa 2 weeks per month and is essential to this role.
This is a truly rare opportunity for a
Program Manager to take
responsibility for leading multiple streams across Corporate/Business and Retail Banking as well as the integration stream as they migrate to a vendor lead platform.
This role demands a strong blend of banking experience as well as a background in driving business and IT readiness and managing scope changes within an emerging banking environment, this role is less focused on financial management and more about being the go-to person on the program to ensure governance and change management are successful in a highly immature environment.
Key Experience: - Strong Program Management background across both Corporate and Retail Banking
- Exposure to large and medium sized banking environments preferred as well as any background within emerging banking markets
- Strong experience driving business and IT readiness and managing scope changes and associated change management within an immature environment
- Strong background in working with vendors and acting as the conduit between the vendor and the bank to ensure governance and process alignment
- Ability to work circa 2 weeks onsite with the client is essential and non negotiable for this role.
This is a day rate contract paying excellent day rates and will suit someone who wants a role that will be a key hire on an exciting program with many interesting and unique challenges and opportunities including building capability across the bank within a fast growing and exciting country.
