We’re on the hunt for a skilled Automation Engineer who thrives in building frameworks from the ground up and enjoys working across modern cloud and data platforms. What You’ll Be Doing

Designing and implementing automation frameworks from scratch using Playwright and Cypress
Developing and executing UI test automation, API/service/contract testing, and data test automation
Validating data pipelines and transformations using SQL, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end quality across cloud-based systems
Supporting occasional production monitoring and maintaining system quality
Participating in data migration testing initiatives
Travelling to Auckland occasionally to collaborate with regional teams

What You’ll Bring

Experience in either: C#, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Python, Kotlin, or Swift
Strong experience with Playwright and/or Cypress
Solid understanding of Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks
Proficiency in SQL and working with data for validation and testing
Experience in data migration testing and contract/API testing
Bonus: Experience monitoring or maintaining system quality in production environments
A proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a passion for clean, scalable automation
